March Must Haves

5 Things I Love Right Now

You know those people who turn HANGRY when someone or something stands in the way of their food? Yeah, I am one of them. So, snacks are life – and I have been trying out some additional healthy options to throw into the mix. I am sharing my new favorites in this month’s must have list – along with my current go-to accessory and a body care necessity. Sorry if this makes you hungry…or hangry.

5 Things I Love Right Now...

1. Health Warrior Chia Bar

Remember those Neapolitan coconut candy bars? That’s exactly what the coconut flavor Health Warrior Chia Bar tastes like. But instead of tons of added sugar, you get Omega-3s, fiber, plant-based protein, and antioxidants. With 10 flavors to choose from, pick your favorite – or go crazy with a variety pack. At only 100 calories, these bars are a must have super snack.

2. MadeGood Granola Minis

I discovered these tasty bites sold in bulk at Wegmans. They are so good it is hard to believe they are free from the eight common allergens: peanut, tree nuts, wheat, dairy, egg, soy, sesame, fish, and shellfish. Also organic, gluten-free, Non-GMO Project verified, they contain nutrients equal to one full serving of vegetables. I swear, they are almost as good as easy a cookie, but totally sans the guilt. Try this wholesome must have on the go or even for dessert.

3. Sahale Snacks

A coworker shared one taste with me and I was hooked. The glazed mixes burst with flavor from exotic spices, and the trail mixes make a perfect sweet and salty combo of dried fruit and nuts – all of which are dry roasted for the perfect crunch. Enjoy them on their own, or top a fresh salad, yogurt bowl, and more – the product website offers unique recipe ideas. These thoughtfully sourced snacks are a must have treat.

4. Eden Crossbody Bag

Available at DSW, this bag by Urban Expressions has pockets galore. The faux-leather is soft and flexible (and vegan-friendly), and the chunky zippers and gold hardware add fun detail. It is great for every day, a run to the grocery store, or even date night. Choose your favorite color (I love cognac) and dress it up or down. This versatile bag is a must have accessory.

5. Burt’s Bees Hand Cream

Winter always sucks the moisture out of my skin. I wanted a natural hand cream remedy without loads of added chemicals and artificial ingredients. I tried a few others, but my knuckles were still cracking and my skin did not absorb them well. Problem solved, finally – this Honey & Grapeseed Hand Cream is fresh, light and keeps my hands feeling nourished all day long. This healing must have smells heavenly, too.

I promise you will love these things, too…happy shopping!
