October 2019 Recap
Yoga, cupcakes, and perfect Fall weather – does it get any better than this? That's pure joy if you ask me. And something tells me the other thirty plus local yogis who showed up to the second rounds of Namaste for the Kupcakes agree. I teamed up with Kupcakes & Co. to host additional events on October 4 and 5, 2019. This time, the weather cooperated and we were able to enjoy a 60-minute outdoor vinyasa flow, taking advantage of the beautiful community space at Clarksville Commons, where we chose joy, together.
Every single day we have a chance – even if for a minute – to choose joy. Life can be chaotic, stressful, and overwhelming. And instead of letting it kill our vibe, we can choose to laugh, smile, take a deep breath…and eat the cupcake. And that’s just what we did.
The super sweet and talented Kupcakes & Co. team created ANOTHER new event inspired flavor – Lavender Lemon! Basically, savasana in a cupcake. A huge thank you goes out to bakery owners (and my friends), Michelle and Bill Kupiec who helped host and even joined us on the mat this time around (how stinking cute are they?)
Along with delicious gourmet minis, each yogi received an additional FREE full-size signature cupcake card from Kupcakes & Co. as part of a “swag bag.” Also, in the bag, some coupons from a couple Common Kitchen vendors – Trifecto Bar and Tasty Empanadas (opening soon!).
We’re creating a little yogi tribe in the community through this event. I honored that with custom designed Peace of Burlap temporary tattoos. If you received some, I’d love to see you wearing them – be sure to share your photos using #peaceofburlapyoga and tag me on Instagram or Facebook.

So grateful for those of you who participated this year and helped make my yoga and cupcake dreams come true! I look forward to bringing you more joy with additional events coming in January 2020.
As always…
May you have peace in your mind, peace in your words and peace in your heart. Namaste…for the Kupcakes.
